Join me Thurs. March 28rd at 3:30pm pst for a subscriber exclusive online class breaking down the decans of Mars through the minor arcana.

My dear reader,

This month has been a whirlwind and it has only just begun. I’ve published my first book, celebrated with a local launch party, and continue forging forthcoming collaborations. Red Tarot was released on Mars day and during the book launch I was asked why red? And so I spoke about being a Martian with a scorpio stellium of course. I spoke of blood, indigeneity, the fixed star Antares, the path of the red thread, and read a bit from the introduction of my book. I mentioned Red Pedagogy, Red Skin White Masks, and Red Medicine, all works that I wanted Red Tarot to stand alongside. The rubied lights were low and the candles were lit and there was red wine and spicy vegan tamales. As I read, I started going into a slight trance state and yet it was all so vivifying.

I’ll be traveling soon and I’m hoping to add at least two more dates to the Red Tarot Tour, so stay tuned for updates there. But today I’m writing to you today to say registration for our monthly classes on the minor arcana continues with the Decans of Mars. To catch up on the classes on Saturn and Jupiter, and to maintain an ever-green access to these classes and exclusive perks, consider becoming a paid subscriber:

But either way I’m glad you’re here. And if you can, I would so appreciate you telling your friends about my publication and inviting them to this class:

Now I’m sure your familiar with the format by now but to review, this class will cover:

  • A break down of the nature of Mars

  • A review of decanic divisions

  • How Mars’ elementary nature becomes distinctly emphasized and emblematic in the syncretized tarot arcana.

  • Spirits and powers associated with each Mars decan / arcanum

  • What and how these cards / decans signify in a reading and how to heed their advice.

  • A custom Mars spread for courage.Register Here

Momentum is picking up but I’m elated to balance it all. I had some strange psychic after birth sensations for the past week that kept me from writing as much as I would’ve hoped, but I will have another essay for you soon enough. Let me know what cards you’d especially like me to write about and what you think about Red Tarot. I’m dying to know.

Till then,

~Christopher
